Notes | YOUR ONLINE FRIEND WAS NOT ARRESTED AT THE AIRPORT. YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED. Have you been having conversations online with someone you've never met before who claims to live in the UK? Has he told you that he will come to visit you in Malaysia? And now is he frantically contacting you because he are being held at the airport, and needs you to pay a fine so he can be freed? It is a scam. There is no romance, and there is nobody being detained at KLIA. The same person who was chatting online with you was also chatting online with many other victims. They are trying to trick you into sending money to an accomplice. Once you have sent the money they will disappear forever. Every year these scammers bilk unsuspecting victims out of thousands of ringgit. Don't be one of them. |

hi,on 30 sept i flew from KK to KL to meet my fiance from UK.He came here for bussiness and brought along his barrister. His flight schedule was so perfect that I didnt had any doubt for his arrival, but after a long waiting of 5 hours at the airport,he called saying he was detained by malaysian immigration because of too much money he carried with him. He asked to be bailed out RM1,500 each for him and his barrister mean total RM3,000.after I banked in the money at 3am in the morning,he said they released only his barrister and he had to stay there.2 days later his so call barrister called saying the immigration wants RM7000 for his release which I rushed to bank in. Then soon after they said they need further and last RM8,000 for his total release and nomore will be needed after this.I told them I had only 5K and not 8K.They asked me to bank in that 5K and his barrister said he will beg them.as soon as i banked in the money he said they cant beg down they still want the other 3k.i broke down and only then i realised how stupid i had been.Since then i refused to bank in that 3K and by this date, they are still contacting me with tears begging me to help for his release. The so call immigration account number the gave me was NURUL FATIN NADIAH BINTI SAMSUDIN CIMB BANK ACC NO 1217-000-536-6201.This fiance name is Josh Arnold (phone no.
