Comments on this Honorary Consulate
Dear Sir/Madam,
My two friends are currently in Kos and need emergency help in getting back to the United Kingdom in light of this devastating earthquake.
Can you please offer some advise on what she needs to do in order to return to the UK?
Please feel free to contact me on 07548320754 or reply back to this email.
I await your response.
Yours faithfully,
David Britten.
Dear Sir,
I visited the island last week to offer support to local volunteers helping the refugees. What I saw was appalling, not even a toilet has been provided by the authorities, never mind shelter, food or water. I am unsure what our role as UK citizens is on this matter, but surely the UK could offer another EU country something in terms of financial support or resources? Could I urge you to use your influence in this? Many British and other EU nationals I spoke to on the island were also appalled that we're apparently 'not helping.'
Thank you,
Yours faithfully,
Sue Larty

Missing British citizen - urgent help needed!
Attention expats living in Kos
Please help I am looking for a much loved close personal friend who arrived in Kos on Tuesday 1st July 2014. He flew in from Manchester and had been missing in the UK prior to this time & no one has been able to contact him since Sunday night, we are very concerned and desperate for him to get in contact & let us know he's ok.
His name is Louis J Elgar (possibly using name Elgar Parsons) he is 25 years old from Manchester, around 5'11 tall & of slim build. He is a white male with dark hair & a name tattoo across his shoulders.
Please if anyone sees him could they contact me urgently as I am very concerned & am desperate to know he's ok & to see him again.
Thank you
Kerry

Hi there,I'm getting a bit concerned,as my son Hal Rhys, messaged me a week ago,to put £200 in his account,so he can come back to the uk,quicker than the planned 25th,as the working holiday he had been on,went belly up,he was kicked out of his room, and had to put his stuff including his phone,in another room, but was having problems gaining access to retrieve it,he usually goes on Facebook nearly every day,BUT hasn't been on since Tuesday,I am getting worried,in case he has come to harm,or blows with someone,or the law,is there anything to be done ?,he hasn't even left a forwarding address for the place !!!
