Admin. Review & Performance of Excellency.
10.Muhammad Aslam Bhutto says: 3/5I applied for UK Student Visa on 2nd July which was initially refused and then was restored after Admin Review Request on 17th Sept. I resubmitted passport and other required documents on 7th Oct at VAC Karachi and still waiting. My Phd programme has already started from 15 Nov at Heriot-Watt Uni Edinburgh UK. Intrestingly my dependents have been issued visas. Please help because Heriot-Watt has set 12th Dec as deadline and thereafter they would cancel my Phd admission and funding.

Unfortunately it seems like that ukba is just waiting for people to make a single mistake and refuse the visa, it is no more a service from them rather a dictatorship where boss is always right, in order to improve their figures of immigration control they r refusing people for minor problems, and I was reading an article online where it was stated that Pakistan is one of the country in banned list of countries and if similar evidence is submitted by nationals of other countries it is accepted n Pakistanis are rejected, and more unfortunate is no one challenging these rules :(

Amna
Sorry to hear that Amna, what were the grounds of your refusal. I'm sure your case will be overturned if it was a minor rejection?

I know of a good immigration solicitor in Bradford I have previously used them for my sisters case and I am currently using them for my own case.
