Comments on this High Commission
has he not heard anything as yet either?
I think he is still in manchester
didnt he? how dyu know? n where is he then?
The reason I say tougher checks is the articles I have read online.
There was a box of visa applications found abandoned with 100s of applications in it.
Theresa May ordered a split of UKBA further into VISA and another section in order to get quality decisions on who to come to this country and who not.
This announcement was done in parliament on 26 March and implemented start of April.
This is the reason that UKBA staff is going on strike.
There is no clear picture, all the articles I have read online and on different forums indicate tougher decisions and further restricting the immigrants in any category.
The changing of IT systems is not a one day process it can take upto an year so that should not effect anyone at the moment, but the thing is the staff may already have gone on go slow policy after 26 March.
One more thing is that usually 80% of civil servants are part of unions one way or other.
We wouldn't like to assume but possible reason is home office has been asked to revamp its "inadequate" IT systems... So may be going through IT systems migrations.
Almighty One Lord of ALL Worlds is Greatest Planner
I have been told by someone that the strike will not effect us cuz the people who work at the BHC n pakstan do not belong to this union...
is he supposed to be coming back this week
nope..
