Tell your wife to email her local MP and give all your application details and they will be able to check with BHC

I have had to submit bank statements, payslips, letters from employer, copies of P60's as BHC claim not receiving them and a covering letter from me.

I have been through the same situation as you as my husband submitted his application on 16/4/13 and the status never changed it still says Forwarded to Islamabad OC 16/4/2013. Don't worry about the status not changing but I would advise you to get a local MP involved and they will be able to get an update for you. I really hope inshallah you get a positive response back from them.

After I involved the local Councillor they actually started their routine checks and have now put our application on hold as some idiot that was weak on his mathematics could not count and see I earn well above the income threshold requirement.

I have submitted extra evidence to support my application.

Please remember me in your duas

do you have time to submit these documents to BHC? If yes get it done and Inshallah you will be sorted. BHC are very popular with losing documents and applications so pester them and they will get back to you with an answer.

are you looking to withdraw and re-submit?

Application Forwarded to Islamabad OC 24-04-2013
Hi,
I need an advice for anyone who has gone with the same situation. I had applied for the visa on 24-04-2013 In Lahore, My wife stays with me till august and then she went back to UK to continue her job. Now it has been more than 6 months since I have submitted my visa application to Gerry's Lahore visa application center. During that time my application status is same, Application forwarded to Islamabad OC on 04/24/2013. I had emailed Gerry's After 12 weeks of my application about my visa application status, they reply me back with We at (Gerry’s) have no control over the process or processing time of an application. I’ve checked and found out that your application is not yet returned from the British High Commission.
When my wife returns to UK she speaks with her lawyer and they told us to write again to them. So my wife sends an application to home office in Birmingham and the same application I emailed to Gerry’s. I got the reply from Gerry’s after 2 days to send the application to Visa Office in Islamabad. So I send them the application on 9 Sep and I got there reply on 16 Sep which was that,
Thank you for your email of 09 September 2013. You are enquiring about the progress of your application. I can confirm that this case is currently being processed but we cannot make a decision until all of our checks have been completed. We will do this as soon as we can but cannot give you precise time frame in this respect.
I again email them on 21 Oct, that’s what they, reply me back.
Thank you for your email correspondence dated 21 October 2013. Unfortunately, the situation remains unchanged, and we are still awaiting the outcome of routine checks before we can resolve your application. I appreciate your disappointment in the delay and apologies again for this. We are doing all that we can to resolve your application, and will process it promptly when we are able to do so.
I Will really appreciate any help from any one.
