IELTS Exam availability

i am a cuban/guyanese nationalized.i actually work for the GDF. I recently spent approximately 3 weeks in the UK early 2015. My mother who is a British citizen is 82 years old. If something seriously happens to her and I do not have a valid visa at the time what steps can be taken to acquire a visa to the UK
