Love
Hello there.

Late last November, in an online chatroom, I met a gentleman from the UK. We ended up speaking and laughing for hours. We repeated the process the next day, and for several weeks afterward, before beginning to video-chat via Skype for hours each day. Some time, shortly before the new year and after a particularly inspired youtube-karaoke rendition of "Let it Go," my dear Mr. Ross admitted that he had fallen in love with me. I had realized my love for him, as well...but I'd avoided mentioning it for fear of frightening him off, and because I knew that any sort of hope for us was likely foolish due to our residence on opposite sides of the Atlantic. However, when he admitted it, I returned the sentiment -- because I, too, had fallen in love.

Over the following months, our love continued to deepen. Ross offered me a standing invitation to visit, and with the arrival of April, I did visit. Over the two weeks we spent in each other's presence, we learned beyond a shadow of a doubt that we loved one another. Our departure was tearful, and, though we have kept in touch via Skype and yahoo! chat since, we feel miserable when apart.

I am planning on visiting, once again, this late-August/September, as he plans on visiting this November. We would like, however, to build a life together somehow, someday. I would prefer to undertake postgrad study in the UK, become a certified primary school teacher, and begin life with my love in England. He would be willing to move here, or course, but in all honesty...I vastly prefer his family. Not only do they love me; they are a warm and close-knit unit as opposed to my family of cold, stand-offish, and socially inept scientists. Yet what matters above all...is that I am given the opportunity to be with the man I love, and he with me.

Is this feasible in the slightest? What would you recommend?

Thank you so much,

Rachel

I'm a current resident of the US and have not traveled outside of the US since I was a young child. I was wondering if and can apply for the passport here in Cleveland and have it sent off to the UK? Thanks

visit
Hi,
We are in the initial steps of planning a trip to Scotland next year. What is the best place for us to get information, including a map, to help us plan?
Thank you,
Craig De Lisi
