Can some advise please. Tried to contact St Lucian Embassy in London to no avail.
My husband and I both ( British Citizens) got married In St Lucia in September 1992. We have to get marriage certificate attested for our move to Qatar ( work) can someone please advise. Thank you
To Whom it May Concern,
My family and I have been vacationing in St Lucia for a wedding. We are staying at Brigand Hill villa and La Chaudieres villa. Yesterday we went to the local beach to snorkel. We were told it was a very safe beach. Most of our group was out snorkeling and my sister in law and I assaulted and robbed at gunpoint. We lost credit cards, bags and medications. One of our party chased them while another ran to a phone to call the police. The police have taken statements but they don't seem like they are well equipped to really do anything.
When our friend got to the main road he saw them ducking out of the woods. The police were coming down the road and he flagged them down and told the police they were the guys that just robbed us. The police search their bags. One bag was empty one had drugs in it. Even though the police were told these men had robbed us they let them go. The men had their hands all over our car handles and they didn't seem interested in getting fingerprints, or any kind of forensic evidence.
Much later that night officers came to one of the villas and took statements. They wrote everything down and left.
I have a suspicion the locals that work at the villa know who they were from things they have said. I have 100% confidence that nothing will be done and we are leaving the island.
I am writing you because I hope that you keep some sort of crime against tourist statistics.
The island is lovely. We will never come back. My sisters wedding memories are tainted and I fear for the safety of the next group of tourists.
Sincerely,
Karena von Hassel

how can i join the british army from st lucia in September of 2016
My father left a plot of land, near Castries in his will, for me and my brothers and sister.
My sister was in charge for selling the land. And as we all live in England, and we are not familiar with the law in St Lucia. She employed the services of a lawyer in St Lucia, to act on our behalf for the sale of the land.
He explained to her, that he needed her to sign "Power of Attorney" over to him, so that he could act on her behalf. Unknown to us; he then changed the details of the land, naming himself as the owner. He then sold the plot of land without our knowledge - and he has stolen the money. We need to have this man arrested and dealt with by the law of St Lucia, for committing such a wicked crime against my family, but we have been told that the Police in St Lucia are also corrupt, and that they probably won't do anything about it.
I need advice about who will help us to get justice. Who are the authorities in St Lucia, who are above the Police, who can be trusted?
