Alicia Ilana Heskie born 28/03/2008
My niece Debbie Burt and her husband Alan Burt wish to take their foster daughter Alicia Ilana Heskie to Spain for a family wedding in a few weeks time. They adopted their eldest son Likhorna in South Afric before the residency qualifications changed. Please help urgently. Councillor Trish Shrapnel - Huntingdon Town Council.

I'm traveling to Ireland and will only be transiting in Heathrow for 2 hours. As a South African citizen, do I still need a transit visa?

New Transit Visas
Does my son need a transit visa? I have a British passport and he is an adult with a South African passport. We are passing through Heathrow on our way to Amsterdam in July boarding another BA flight within two hours (and doing the same on our return in August) so will not actually enter UK. Are you able to e-mail forms if required or advise me?

Consular assistance
On 11.04.13 I submitted a passport renewal application together with a credit card debit authorisation to the British High Commission, Pretoria. I did so by courier service.
When the application was forwarded to London the incorrect expiry date for the credit card was transposed.
My bank will not authorise payment until this is corrected by the High Commission. My faxes sent to the Commission do not go through. Messages left on the answering service are not replied to. London has twice requested the Commission to contact me on my tel. nos. or e-mail address, so far with nil result.
I am due to resume employment overseas on 18 May, which means I must travel no later than 17 May.
I desperately require the consular assistance the High Commission advertises it provides and would be grateful for any advise you could offer.
