Dear Sirs,
I have a Schengen visa to Sweden and I would like to book a flight on Ibria airline flight no. IB4755 operated by British airways , transit in Heathrow airport then fly to Stockholm airport , I called your embassy on 29/9/2015 to ask if I need a visa to wait in this airport and the operator( was a girl) confirmed to me that no need for a visa as I will not leave the airport , so that I booked my flight and pay almost 4460 L.E , on 9/10/2015 the day of travelling in Cairo international airport , terminal 1 , the flight counter representative confirmed to me that I need a transit visa as I'm Egyptian and I have to get this, I told him the whole story and he said that embassy should inform me from beginning and they should announce that on website to be clear for Egyptian citizen and he canceled my flight and I lost my money as the flight was non refunded ticket

Dears,
my parents and sister applied for a visa, had all documents prepared and were told that they will be treated as one family. The Egyptian employee put all hotel and flight reservations in my mother's file. However, the employee in Abu Dhabi only checked my father's file and they didn't find the reservations. In addition, my father just moved to a new company and he couldn't obtain an HR letter before the end of the probation period. So the visas got rejected within 5 working days (they said it takes 15 and they may ask for interview or more documents). What is the best move to take right now? It's a hasty decision and they are prepared to answer any questions. All reservations are prepaid and non refundable.

uk visa in cairo for non-egyptian
Dear sir or madam,
I am writing to enquire about visa application. I have learnt from the following website (https://www.gov.uk/government/world/organisations/british-embassy-cairo) that the British embassy in Cairo does not deal with visa matters, however maybe you could recommend me a place where I can apply for the UK visa. I'd like to point out that I am not Egyptian, I hold Russian passport and I am staying in Egypt till 30 July. It is just that I would prefer not to waste time and apply for visa while I am here.
