Extension to passport
Can't rate the staff highly enough for their kindness and efficiency and friendliness. All explained in detail and very very efficient. Thank you.

How on earth do you get to speak to a human being at the consulate in Bordeaux. I have been trying for days.. the recorded message is a joke and just sends you round in loops back to where you started... soooo frustrating!! I want to make a routine enquiry but God help anyone in an emergency.
It is disgraceful and a terrible reflection on the UK.

Called for you help in desperation
I called you over 3 weeks ago in desperation having been assaulted by a worker on the campsite and subsequently being evicted 31 Dec by the "Patrons"

I thought you could help me through a very intimidating, dangerous situation and you've not call me back.

Well Don't bother. I called out for help and you've not responded, No more I can do, But thank for the time you DID give me

James Glaze
In 1982 on our way to Lourdes,my sick wife who was 31 years old and myself found ourselves in dire straits in Bordeaux. We were taken in by Consulate General James Glaze and his wife Rosemary who were absolute Saints. They took care of my wife and then drove us 200 miles to Lourdes. Sadly my wife died a few months later and I kept in touch for a year or so.

I often wonder what became of these wonderful people and should be pleased if you could
throw any light on it.

I take it all back!
There didn;t seem to be a push-button option to deal with my rather unusual enquiry, so the end I sent them an e-mail. A couple of hours later someone replied, saying that if I would e-mail my telephone number she would ring me. So I sent my number - and within less than two minutes she rang me ; dealt courteously and helpfully with my enquiry ; and as she herself was going on holoiday the next day, she gave me her colleague's direct dial number.

Kafka-esque.....
I've just had the same experience as Veronica Marshall (28th June 2013). Very frustrating.
