this is not the british consulate website - see the contact numbers and email. I would not post information like passport numbers etc here. Yes, the Bilbao Consulate used to accept "drop-ins" and in my experience, the staff there are great.

I used to English (born in GB) and when my sons were born in Spain they were both issued with british birh certificates - could they have dual nationality (Spanish and English)? This is the question I´ve been trying to find an answer to but it seems that I can´t actually talk to a person (rather than a machine) and the web site I have been given doesn´t seem ta answer my question. Maybe it´s just me, Do you think that if I just turn up on the doorstep of the British consulate in Bilbao they will listen to me? Years ago, before internet they used to....
