I want to know how many kinds of visas are applied in UK and what are they??
i applied for the visa then i asked for a refund then i went through the procedures : submitted my visa application , photographed , fingerprints taken and etc . will a refund request cancel my visa application?

I applied for a work in a hotel called "maids head Hotel" in 20 Tombland
Norwich
first I filled an application form then the sent me a contract to sign. After signing they sent me work permit application form, Application for The UK Board Certifications will cost me the following:
1. UK Foreign Certificate Form - £175.39GBP
Work permits Registration fees:
2. Expatriate Work Permit - £179.28GBP
3. Foreign Affairs Certification – £171.32GBP
4. DER Expatriates Quota Approval Charge in relevant categories (Has agreed to be paid by my Employer)
5.Flight Ticket and Visa Application (has agreed to be paid by my Employer)
THIS EQUALS a TOTAL £525.99GBP (To be paid by me to rocket ship travels agancy via money gram)
so I am just need your advise.
Is that all true or what??and this fees are much for work permits or not?

Dear all,
First I applied for a vacancy in a hotel called"Prince Lux Hotel" in London first I filled an application form then the sent me a contract to sign. After signing they sent me work permit application form, Application for British visa & foreign affairs certification to fill them out & asked me to pay 505 Sterling for U K permit work papers, so I am just need your advise.

My visa to UK that i got around three years ago expired . May i ask you how to get the correct application form and get an appointment to apply for visitor visa to visit my daughter who workes in London , UK
