Comments on this Honorary Consulate
During my long travelling tours and business, I met the Honorary British Consul in Aleppo Eng Alexander Akras in his office, who reminded me of the best times of diplomacy when etiquette protocole and politeness where reigning among the finest diplomats!
He not only conducted his job and gave advice as a real business gentelman but also showed such anthousiasm to serve the UK which is becoming very rare. All the info requested by me were answered with surplus, and I am sad to know that the oldest British consulate established in 1583 is now closed due to the sad events taking place in Syria. I rank this consulate wich such low facilities amongst the top worlwide that I have ever visited.
