I received refusal of entry clearance report (Post reference 1364904) dated 17/3/2015. The entry clearance officer wrote: "I must take into account your personal and economic circumstance in Nigeria..." while I am from Pakistan not from Nigeria.
This allegation very absurd and based on misunderstanding. I would like to request you to rectify the baseless allegation for refusal of my visa.

Dear Sir,
My visa application has been refused last month and my passport is being held by your embassy. The reason written in my refusal letter is clause 320. The basic issue discussed in refusal letter is that there is wrong arrival date stamped in my passport in 2008 by Pakistani Immigration department. unfortunately I was not aware of this printing mistake on my passport. I traveled on this passport many time and got visa from your embassy as well even after this date. I have never presented any false or forge document to any embassy nor I had ever been overstayed in UK. So please remove this 320 (7A) (7B) (7C) clause from my record and declare my visa without any objection as soon as possible. I will be very grateful to you.
Please provide me concerned department email ID if I am not sending this email to concerned department.

I approached the Consulate to obtain a notarized copy of my passport which I need from the Issuer : FCO to enable me to get a US tax refund from my 401k plan.
Apparently this service is not available in Abu Dhabi......I thought that was supposed to be one of the most basic services that should be available from any Consulate.
Consequently I now have to fly to Oman just to get this done, expensive and in my view something that should be totally unnecessary.

Hi, I am planning to leave my 3 children (aged 14, 12 & 8) in UK for their studies. Since I do not want them to be a boarding children, I would like to send my wife as well to stay with them for a while like 2 to 4 years or until their studies are completed.
For children, I assume the school will give letter to obtain their visa, but for my wife to stay with them, what type of visa shall I have to apply and how. Because, for them to receive money that I will be trasferring for their expenses like accommodation, food, fees, etc., she should open an account in one of the UK banks.
In order to facilitate that, does the Embassy supports us. Since I have to take this decision quickly before the admissions get closed, I would appreciate swift response from the Embassy.
