Ukrainian Tourist Visa
Hello, everyone. Can someone please tell me how to acquire a Ukrainian Visa for tourists? I'm still a college student but my boyfriend is currently studying in Ukraine. We were planning to meet up in Kiev but as I have researched, there is no embassy here that would cater to processing a tourist visa.

Also, I saw and read everyone's inquiries here and most of them are about how to acquire visa for marriage purposes. I am in no means getting married in Ukraine. But since I'm only a student, I also have quite insufficient resources that I could use for me to go to neither Japan, Hanoi, Jakarta nor Malaysia just to process the visa. It would add more to the cost I intend to spend, if I go to any of these countries. Most of the information in this forum says that I need to have some sort of "invite". I really don't think I could get an invitation from anywhere unless my university miraculously opens up an exchange program in Ukraine (which is impossible due to the difficulty in acquiring the visa).

Please, please help me with this one. If anyone has any information that could help my case, I would be more than happy. Thank you very, very much!

P.S. I am a holder of US Visa (valid for 10 years), Japan Visa (valid for 5 years), and a former holder of Schengen Visa (expired 4 years ago, although I could apply once again if it will help my case).

Immigration risk zone
Good day, me and my Filipino boyfriend want to travel to Ukraine. We are currently in China and the Guangzhou worker consulate was rude to me and didn’t answer all questions and threatened that Filipinos can’t get visa or if he get one he can be rejected to enter Ukraine at the border because of the immigration risk zone. Who had the same experience and if everything went well in Ukraine? My email ZolHelga@gmail.com
Thank you for any information.

Helpful information about Filipinos travelling to Ukraine
Hello everyone.

I am going to Ukraine in June of this year to visit my Ukrainian husband's parents and been doing my research for Filipinos visiting Ukraine. This is actually for those who have the same intention:

Here is what will guide you through:

There are 3 countries where a Filipino citizen can apply for a tourist visa, Malaysia, Hanoi or Jakarta. On each country, you may download a Step by step information on how to get Ukrainian visa like this:

https://mfa.gov.ua/mediafiles/sites/malaysia/files/Visa_application_step_by_step.pdf

Again, the citizen of Philippines can submit document
for Ukrainian visa to Embassy of Ukraine in Kuala Lumpur,
Hanoi or Jakarta.

You need to do online application and follow their requirements and procedure. I have been in touch with a nice lady, Miss Tanya, that works in Ukrainian Embassy in Malaysia, in which where I plan to submit and apply my entry visa to Ukraine. She has been very generous in answering my questions on email. So I would suggest for you to email as much questions or clarifications you have before you do the application. Almost all the information are on their website so PLEASE DO READ THROUGH.

I hope that you will be able to travel to Ukraine as you wish.

For those who are getting married in the Philippines to a Ukrainian national, you can email me and I will try to give you as much information I have. Oh by the way, I am married to a Ukrainian for 11 years already and been living in the Philippines since 2008.
