is there an age limit for student visa
I want to refresh my Russian language in Eastern ukraine by taking Rusian language course in one of universities. I'm told I can get an invitation letter to study in one of universities there but because I'm over 32 I can't get a one year student visa to study. I've never read this anywhere so school who told me may be misinformed. Can ukraine consulate tell me is there an age limit to receive a one year student visa? thank you

Ukrainiqn Visa Application Inquiry
Hi Sir/Madam,
i am planning to apply for a Ukrainian Visa (Short Term Tourist Visa).

Unfortunately, there is no Ukrainian Embassy here in the country that is why i am writing this email to you.
I have already checked the website (Visa information - Embassy of Ukraine in Malaysia) for the guidelines. With this, would like you to please confirm if below documents will suffice.
1. Philippine Passport
2. Proof of Sufficient Funds
- I will be using the option of submitting Bank Account Document
3. Completed and Signed Visa Application Form
4. Letter of Invitation from the host Ukrainian Citizen

I also have inquiries as stated below:

1. Based on the type of Visa i will be applying for (Short Term, Tourist Visa), am i required to have Health Insurance?
2. What would be the examples of documents to prove that the purpose of visit is Tourism?
3. According to your website, the regular visa processing will take 10 - 30 days. Would like to ask if do i need to stay in Malaysia until the decision is made for the application? or if the documents can be shipped in the Philippines?
4. What would be the format of the Letter of Invitation? ( ex. scanned letter in PDF file, email. etc)

Greatly appreciate your response as i am really looking forward to visit Ukraine in summer. Thank you in advance!

Please email me at:

Business cooperation with Ukraine as agent
Hello we discuss the contract and they claim that they have to deduct 1% tax as no agreement is with the Philippines or Hongkong either.
Do you know anything about this -I act as broker here only !

Ukrainian Tourist Visa
Hello, everyone. Can someone please tell me how to acquire a Ukrainian Visa for tourists? I'm still a college student but my boyfriend is currently studying in Ukraine. We were planning to meet up in Kiev but as I have researched, there is no embassy here that would cater to processing a tourist visa.

Also, I saw and read everyone's inquiries here and most of them are about how to acquire visa for marriage purposes. I am in no means getting married in Ukraine. But since I'm only a student, I also have quite insufficient resources that I could use for me to go to neither Japan, Hanoi, Jakarta nor Malaysia just to process the visa. It would add more to the cost I intend to spend, if I go to any of these countries. Most of the information in this forum says that I need to have some sort of "invite". I really don't think I could get an invitation from anywhere unless my university miraculously opens up an exchange program in Ukraine (which is impossible due to the difficulty in acquiring the visa).

Please, please help me with this one. If anyone has any information that could help my case, I would be more than happy. Thank you very, very much!

P.S. I am a holder of US Visa (valid for 10 years), Japan Visa (valid for 5 years), and a former holder of Schengen Visa (expired 4 years ago, although I could apply once again if it will help my case).
