Hi I have been following events about our Ugandan sisters and brothers who have come to work in low cost jobs in sauda Arabia. They seem to be treated like slaves, yet they are providing a service.As the Ugandan embassy and representative of the Uganda people is,nt there a way you can help these poor people.I have been living abroad for 15 years, I know the feeling when one is in a foreign land and subject to such horrible ordeals, its not a good feeling.I hope the government of Uganda interjects and help these people back to Uganda.This kind of slavery has no room in the 21 first century.

I have been in Saudi Arabia for a year now and some months but for the last 5months i have not been given my salary but each time i try to demand my bosses say they dont have money.At one time i demanded i was beaten and forced out of home in the night and was told to take myself to police. On reaching there i wasnt even given chance to explain what happened but awos beaten and forced to go back and work. I lost my dad this month and awos even denied chance to go home and attend my dad's funeral in the name of "we dont have money"instead awos told to continue working while they look for my money. Then later on passed me on to another house and was told to work for 5 or six days then later on get paid.but before i made 2 days the former called in and said she needs money or else i shud be taken back to office .Now am stuck and i dong know what to do.
