Hello,
I came to Istanbul to pursue an English teaching job. I went to Crete in June to get my TEFL. I came back to Istanbul for a month. I then had to go to the US to pack up my apartment. I mistakenly thought my days began again on my visa. I have never lived in another country before and misunderstood the rules. I was working with a teacher recruiter who got me my appointment on February 2. I had overstayed once and left and came back. I was supposed to register with the police, but my recruiter told me it was not necessary. I did not end up taking a job with that agency but had my appointment. When I went the first time it was seen I had overstayed again. The woman told me to come back in a week. I did, she wanted me to go to the airport and get a visa stamp, I had a friend translating for me and then she said not necessary. I went back 4 more times, each time her telling me I needed this and that. Which I got each time. The third time I went she said I was all set, just needed the noter. I did that, then she told me I was over the month where I was to finish everything up. I have read and read about this process but never read it had to be completed in a month. Now I have found an employer who wants to hire me for a job I really want. But I have to and want to be legal. I just paid another fee and am on my way to Greece. Please, please can you help me? I have a home, friends and a future that is in Istanbul. I have no home in America and my parents have passed. Turkey is my future, please advise.

Dear Sir, my wife and I are planning to travel to Istsnbul in October starting from Thessaloniki, we are italians and will have our passport with us, do you require a special visa before entering Turkey ? we plan to travel by bus from Thessaloniki, can you suggest us a web site where find information about Bus transportation please!!
