Do I need to have a Visa to visit a turky?
Iam a US Citizen
I have several medications with perscriptions I need to take with me to Turkey.
Are these allowed? :
Oxycodone
Clonzapam
Testoserone and needles for hormone teatments
I am a U.S. citizen and am planning to travel to Istanbul with an arrival date of June 15, 2014. My U.S. passport was just issued to me with an effective date of January 26, 2014. It is valid until 2024.
Obviously I will NOT have had the passport for a full six months prior to the time I arrive in Turkey. Will this present any problems when I apply for an e-Visa to get into Turkey or will I be okay?
Any information that can be provided will be very much appreciated.
Those are not worth very much. The 500,000 was worth about fifty cents in US money at the time that they switched to the new lira. They are probably more valuable as curiosities than as money. I believe it's still possible to exchange them in Turkey at the central bank but unless you have huge bundles of them, it wouldn't be worth the effort.
I just found these among my deceased brother's things. He lived in Spain and loved Istanbul. He was sickly a few years before death in 2006. I appreciate any assistance you might offer.
Thank You,
Anne
I am writing as I have a trip planned for Istanbul on Friday and I wanted a few tips. If you would not mind answering a few questions, I would truly appreciate your time.
1) What is the best time to visit that park in Taksim Square (sorry I don't recall the name)? I enjoy green spaces immensely and I wanted to get good advice about the best time of day to take a stroll.
2) I am a bit allergic to pollen (and tear-gas) and I wondered if you could recommend something that I could find in a pharmacy that I could use if I have any trouble breathing in the city?
3) I am a bit of a nervous traveler and I would like some reassurance about the legal system. If I have any concerns, will I be able to get a good lawyer?
4) What would you suggest doing in Istanbul for a few drinks and a laugh? I prefer to dine late and bring my own wine (no offense, but I generally prefer to bring my own bottle). Could you recommend a nice shop to get wine in Istanbul that is open late?
I truly appreciate your time
