I am a US citizen with a US passport. I work for a UK company and have a UK Residence/Work Permit. I live most of the time in Napoli with my son. I have traveled for many years to Turkey for my work as Global Buisness Development Manager for a UK Retail Technology company. I work with companies such as IBM, NCR, Diebold Nixdorf, Fujitsu, UCGE, POS Perakende Otomasyon Sistemleri, Migros and BIM in Turkey. In December I traveled to Istanbul and had difficulty securing a visa at the border. After some hours I was able to cross the border. At the time, I was unaware of the visa conflict between Turkey and the US. I now understand that I can secure a Visa through the Turkish consulate as a US citizen with a residence card from the UK.
