Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam
RE: REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE FOR MADRASSA TEACHER AND IMAM MONTLY STIPEND.

Assalam Aleykum,

By the grace of Allah, we are in the process of completing the construction of our mosques and madrassa. With the rising population of worshipers and students who are learning at the madrassa, we hired an Imam who is both in charge of leading the prayers and teaching students.

With no monthly stipend for our Imam, the mosque committee has requested for your support in assistance to cover the Imaam’s upkeep. This will go a long way in ensuring the Imam concentrate on both leading the prayer and teaching the growing number of students at the madrassa.

Once again we are asking for your support to donate generously towards contributing for the Imams stipend. May Allah give you reward in this world and in the hereafter.

Wassalam

Truly yours

Imram Adam

Mosque Committee.

Are these institutions really charitable organizations?
In malindi we pay for everything books, sports, swimming, trips and exorbitantly at the end of the day its more expensive than the British international schools.

To Turkish Embassy and Consular officials,
To Turkish Embassy and Consular officials,

This is a warning about the mistreatment and refusal of basic human rights being denied to african artists
employed by Turkish entertainment companies.
Many african artist are being lured to Turkey, with promises of contracts providing great salaries,
food allowances, accomodation and insentives. However upon arrival in Turkey it becomes clear that this will not be the
case.Accomodation has not been of standards fit for humans. The accomodations registered on te visas are not the places the
sponsors are taking the artists to reside. Contracts are not being followed and the basic duty of care is not being met.
In majority of the cases contracts are not being signed by sponsors at all. Health care isnt accessible, and health
insurance doesnt exist. In one instance, and artist sort medical attention on his own and was advised to rest for 3-4 days
due to a muscle tear, when he advised his sponsor of this he was instructed to take pain killers and continue performing
up to two how a day. Payment for the showsis well below any minimum standard in the world. Documents are being forged and
illegally obtained and produced, this is to gain visas for these african artists. Artist are being forced to renew visas
even when they have clearly communicated not wanting to stay in Turkey, with financial control these sponsors have over
these artists they have no other option but to follow these sponsors.
Future artists need to be warned of these issues that have been raised before deciding to grant any further visas to
perform in Turkey.
thankyou
