Comments on this Embassy
Good day!
May I ask what are the necessary documents to have a working visa in Ankara Turkey? What process should I do as well as my employer? Do I need invitation letter from a family? How could I have this working visa for nanny/au pair?
I hope to read back again from you soon. Here is my e.mail address pearlpineda08@gmail.com
I already sign a contract & also visa form but he said we need provide a huge money my question is merhaba travels are
connected to turkiye petrolleri.
All turkish visa applicants who has ever encountered the secretary named Gladys of Turkish Embassy in Dasmariñas Village, Makati in Metro Manila will be able to tell you how utterly RUDE she is. She deals with the Filipino applicants as if everyone's at her mercy --- talking only in 1-to-2-word/s basis after checking the documents presented, in a manner that tells you she's done with you and you can step out (i.e. looking thru her nose or if you have a follow-up question, faces you quickly with one eyebrow raised, belittling facial expression and rude tone as if you've asked the most stupid question!). I believe consistent eye-rolling, raising of voice/eyebrow, and telling a 1st-time applicant struggling with docs to "hurry up" are inappropriate responses to people who are respectfully asking (of course, these people does not file for visa everyday and would definitely have a couple of questions) and are going to pay a fee.
I understand they have to be strict and firm, but there is a HUGE difference between being firm and being disrespectful bordering to discriminatory. Not to mention how she has little to no regard to the applicant's time, money and effort going to the hard-to-reach and highly-secluded embassy. Most of the applicants just took a leave from work and some even came from the province so there is very limited processing time, and what does she do? She does not mention ALL lacking documents/requirements at once that more often than not, the applicant must return the next working day everytime she tells a new requirement missing! Just inexplicably inhumane.
I am not sure if the consuls/embassy heads are aware of her unprofessional and discourteous behavior (even on phone) towards the applicants but I am sure that it is not right. Someone has got to straighten her up, if not replace. If that's the way her role is meant to be, then it is such a shame for the Turkish Embassy as she represents them and their reputation too.
