I need to visit your consulate general in Houston and i need to know your working days&hours
After seeing the video of the attacks against the our sailors in Istanbul I would avoid Turkey as this could happen to any american visiting the country. Disrespect of our sailors who were not in uniform is outrageous and should not be toletated by the US military. No sailors should be allowed to disembarq in Turkey and spend time if this is the attitude of the people. I would probably have to believe this was sanctioned by the Turkish government to cause an escalation but the sailors removed themselves from the agitators grasps and suffered humiliation at the hands of these thugs.
We believe Turkey is playing a game to see what else they can get out of the US instead of taking care of the vicious groups at its border. We as Aamericans sent 21 million and more to the Turks! We as American want our monies back and we as Americans must stop the nonsense of sending our tax dollars to Turkey and any of these adjacent countries . I say stop the bleed of Amrican tax dollars to all countries!
I live in Dallas. I have been shocked by images showing police actions against demonstrators in Istanbul and other Turkish cities. My Turkish and American friends have posted horrible videos and photographs of the outrageous behavior of the Prime Minister's police force against peaceful demonstrators. This is an outrage.
I call upon the Turkish government to:
* Intervene immediately to end abusive use of force by police, including the firing of tear gas canisters directly at protestors and abusive use of water cannons;
* Respect the right to peaceful protest;
* Launch prompt, independent and impartial investigations into the use of excessive force and bring to justice all those law enforcement officials found to have been responsible.
Sincerely
