Comments on this Consulate-General
Consulate need to get a toll free number.
Renewal of passport application form online TO BE PRINTED ON LEGAL SIZE PAPER AND ON BOTH SIDES...what's wrong with letter size?
Not everyone lives near a TT embassy...Prepaid envelope labels UPS or FedX. Hoops, Hoops, Hoops.
I just Called in to inquire about getting a certificate of good character, the girl that answered said " well you know everything is online" like honestly, no need to be rude. how long will it take you to tell me what I need to do? isn't it your job?
After three years of inquiring re Restoration of Citizenship, the Trinidad Government is still unable to provide us with our dual citizenship. What kind of government do we have? We are told that they are still not processing applications.
My wife and I applied for T&T passports. Last passport was in 1989. I had anticipated that this was going to be a very challenging situation, but the staff at the embassy were very courteous and helpful. Kudos to the staff. Keep up the good work.
I believe the Consulate office should be closed and they will understand, Customer Service how to treat people, lunch hour should be schedule where there is always someone to assist Customers.
I look at a lot of you people make comment, and from my experience you people are full of it. I took my brother in law today to the office and the consulate- General Staff were so professional in their job it was amazing especially the immigration offer that look after us. Big up to the Consulate General of TORONTO.So the people that put the Negative post on it is all the way you threat them.
Called the consulate to get information pertaining the new birth certificate, the way the person spoke to on the phone I was amazed, you live and work in canada and be grateful, look and learn an adapt to the way canadians talk and treat people with respect. come on trinidians wake up and treat people how you would like to be treated, you are being paid for you to perform a job let go of your layed back attitude,
I think the experience positive and negative is a reality
I believe that the workers at the office gets upset at people who don't make use of the online services that makes their work and the work of the person applying lighter. So it could be the behavior is act as a detractor to cause people to follow the procedures outlined and the services offered.
I also think that while this may be true there are some people that have problems even a phobia for filling out forms.
I believe a polite word and kind gesture can resolve this problem for both parties.
Maybe a little understanding and patience may go a long way in resolving some of the issues.
And maybe the folks that work at the consulate office you be held accountable for complaints. All complaints should be reviewed and persons who feel mistreat should be contacted with a reasonable explanation of the issue ensued.
And I believe within a short period of time these embarrassing comments will be no more.
Finally if we choose to stay ignorant of some of the above facts then we need to be trained, both partied of the opposite end of the spectrum,in interpersonal relationship skills.
Worst treatment I experienced at a passport office, some very unprofessional staff
I am trying to get restoration to Trinidad but the Toronto office said Trinidad is not processing restoration since 2013 I am 73 years old and build a house in trinidad but I cannot get my restoration what to do prime minister
