Comments on this Consulate-General
Passport forms need to be less confusing and simplified for residents living outside of Canada. Staff helpful in this respect. Overall, good customer experience. Busy, though, more staff might solve this problem.
I came to your office on November 14/2012, stayed the entire day, until 4.pm even though I had a 11:00am appt.and up till now have not gotten my passport. I have called on 3 occasions, left my workphone number as well as my home phone number and no one ever called me back. It is now Feb.06/2013, please, tell me something.I worked for the T&T Immigration Dept.many moons ago we did not even have computers then and I can assure you it was not this bad.I was in T&T recently I am sure I probably could have done it there and got it back. Hoping this does not blacklist me for any further info or assistance I might need at the Immigration office. Please call me and remember in Canada we do have to apply for a day off to do our business I can't runaway on my lunch hour, this isn't how it works here. Thanks in Advance
Called earlier today for info in obtaining a new passport and spoke to Ravi who was most helpful.
Thanh you and keepup the good work.
I visited the consulate a few weeks ago and had the most pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and they go beyond what is expected to help who ever needs it. Like I said, it was a very wonderful experience. Thank you.
We left it behind where the social web rules, forget it all, move on elsewhere.
please soebody answer the phone.Hello hello no one there.Drunk and sleeping.
Hi , I have called and left three messages and no one returned my calls. Now I did get someone on line but it was like pulling teeth for answers. Hopefully they will respond to the email.
You have very capable and experienced Trinidad nationals at the consulate but you need to employ some people with Canadian work experience who will relate to us Canadian-Trinidadians.
first of all let,me say thank you for taking the time, to help people in need we know you work, all day, every day.to do business, trade, import, export,to help people in school, work and visit their family.we realy appreciate what you do for your country.
I realize that your office is overwhelmed, and I have got responses by phone and e-mail sometimes, but not consistently. Right now I have some questions regarding forms. Applying for a computerized birth cert. the form says submit copy of birth certificate (if available) The person in T&T who went to one of the offices was told that a copy of a birth cert is not good enough. Which is it?
About passport applications. If the recommender is a retired doctor and university prof, and does not have a stamp any more, what do I do? Find another recommender?
An answer would be appreciated.
Thanks.
