Wife is from Trinidad.
O know this is not a passport question but any help would be greatful. My wife and I live in Alice Springs in Central Australia. We are going to Sydney for a family holiday in July with the kids. I was wondering if there are any restaurants/food places, social clubs or ex-Trinidad people that get together. Any information would be greatful.

Richard, an Australian does not need a visa to visit Trinidad and Tobago. A visa waiver stamp can be obtained at the Port-of-Spain airport. It costs TT$400 (A$60).

How to contact the T&T consulate in Australia?
Hello,

Does anyone here know how to actually contact the honarary consulate of Trinidad & Tobago in Sydney. The # above appears to not be working & there appears to be no Trinidad & Tobago representation in all of Australia.

Does anyone know how an Australian national would obtain a business or tourist visa for Trinidad & Tobago?

Thanks so much,

Richard Ford

Renew Trini passport while in Australia/Australian DP
Hi

Question# 1: I am a Trinidadian national about to migrate to and work in South Australia in a week, and my Trini passport expires in November 2014. Is there any way that the passport can be renewed while I am still in Australia?

Contact me at brjordan@gmail.com

Question #2: In order for me to acquire a driver's permit in Australia, is my Trini DP recognised (since we drive on the same side of the road) such that driving tests, etc are waived, or do I have to go through the whole process?

ex-pat Trinidadian
I am concerned about the criminal history of Mr Andre Mohammed, then (2004-2006) homeless at Bondi Beach, NSW and my difficulty in having him identified by Australian law enforcement and the affect on me as entrapped in his network of hideous narcotics and deviates. He/they should be locked up with possibly no hope of salvation...further details...please contact me...laar@live.com.au Thank you.
