Visa for Australians visiting T&T
I have just left T&T after a memorable and delightful visit. I had been misinformed by my travel agent as they told me I did not require a visa for T&T. On arrival I was asked why I did not have one and on explaining I found the imigration staff to be friendly and helpful and they arranged for my visa waiver on the spot. Cost was 400 T&T dollars. I paid in US dollars (Aprox. 63.00) and received change in T&T dollars. Payment must be in cash.

Australian moving to T&T
Hi there,
I understand an Australian doesn't need a visa to visit Trinidad, but what is the process for an Australian to move (to work and live) to Trinidad?

Visa for Australia
Pam & Spencer

All visitors require a visa for Australia. Trinidadians if based in Trinidad need to lodge an application through the Australian Embassy in Ottawa, Canada. You will not require to send your passport, just a copy of you biometric data page with the application and associated fees. You will also not receive a physical visa but an electronic visa referencing your details. Takes about 1-2 weeks if all is in place.

Cheers

Visa for Trinidad and Tobago - the cash trick
When we arrived in Port of Spain the passport officer was quite rude but eventually agreed we could get a waver and gave us the form. The trick is to have the exact money ready as there are no ATM's nearby and the passport officer gives no change. It cost us 67USD each.
