Comments on this Consulate-General
It's very disheartening to see that to get a visa from trinidad to the US you have to have house and land. What utter none sense is that., Trinidad and Tobago is the only Caribbean island that doing this none sense. They think that everybody have house and land. It used to be all you needed was a bank account and to be in a good job. Now it's just for certain people. Ridiculous .
We are in America people, Can you please be nice after all you come from one of the nicest country in the world. If you cant do the job look for anothwer one.
TRINIS,EVEN THOSE WORKING AT THE CONSULATE ARE WELL KNOWN FOR A FEW THINGS.THEY LOVE A GOOD LIME,PARTY,PRETENDIG TO BE BETTER THAN THOSE THEY SERVE; GENERALLY MIMICKING THE GOVERNMENT THAT PAYS THEIR WAGE. HOW DARE WE EXPECT THEM TO ANSWER PHONES,OR RETURN CALLS,OR PROCESS APPLICATIONS. WE MUST BE MAD! WHEN LAST DID YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE PARTIES COFFERS FROM THE MONEYS THEY CORRUPTLY PAID YOU? WE BETTER LEARN TO SHUT UP,WAIT INDEFFINATELY,AND PRAY.

Tell them of your experience,or write the media in TNT to expose them...
Send the link to show them it is TRUE!
Happy New Year to my bros and sis of Trinibago.
What a SHAME,....it is so true....from the the TnT embassy in Trinidad to the consulate in the US,they talk to you loud and disrespectful, making theirselves look dunce and backward...it's such a SHAME to see our own people treating us like CRAP we are not asking for favours it's what we are entitled to, and what they....I supposed are qualified to do...do they even know without us they have no workload?...no job no pay fools....I know the people in higher positions in this TnT consulate are reading these comments...if not well hmmmm!!!
The Trinidad and Tobago embassy is a reflection of the Trinidad and Tobago government as a whole. A Bunch of incompitant individuals. People who let things go to there head when in a certain position. They don't know how to talk to people, especially there own people. This is the experience with anything Trinidad on a professional level. However it is not a reflection of the average citizens of our beautiful country. Give some of them a lil schooling and they think they know everything, school is regurgitated information, general knowledge and dealing with others is priceless.
Why is that you guys don't return phone call or even answer the phone
Employees at the consulate are rejecting applications based on name change and instead of simply having you swear to an affidavit, they are referring you to an ex-employee who charges you ridiculous amount of money under the pretense of saving you time and money by having it done in Trinidad they are mainly targeting individual without green cards. I had less hassle obtaining a green card from homeland security than a Trinidad passport. This situation should be investigated by the consulate general I pray she is not aware of this and simply turning the other way. i am going back there next week i will keep you all posted. I'm about to call Help me Howard and expose them.
The people are dotish, I'm so ashamed of them. The think they own the place, and that we should beg them. This happens to 95% of T&T citizens that walk throuh their doors. I'm so frusted w/these idiots. Arggg.
