Trying every day for two weeks. No one answers the phone. Yes, once someone picked up after hours of trying and they said hello and hung up the phone. Worst ever experience. Something must be done to improve this horrible situation!!!!!

These people refuse to answer the phone. I have no idea why they place the number if no one is willing to answer the phone. I live in Boston and I'm trying to get information before I travel down.

Most incompetent Consulate
No One answers the phone, they ask to contact them by email and if you lucky you may get a reply from email after a month. Why does it take 6 mts to get a passport especially when you have one already? The most hostile people to deal with, Have been there several times and I absolutely hate dealing with them. Entire staff and consulate general must go.

New passport
The consulate in New York is of no use they should change the whole entire staff. What's the reason for having phone's there if no one is going to answer them, these people are in a different country and has the same lazyass attitude like from home. U will think they see how things are run in this country, and will try to do thing in a manner to make their country look good but I guess they just don't care. And lets not get started with the staff, they need a crash cause in Public Relations cause they don't know how to speak to people. And it seems to me it's about who U know there, It's just out right ridiculous.

Most horrible experience! Waited on line for hours then they opened ,called some people then the waiting again, called some more then sent the rest away. The employees are very rude and arrogant and totally ignores your question. They need to change staff and find some caring and sensitive folks to work there. Shame on them!
