Does anyone EVER answer the phone
I have been trying for days to reach someone; anyone at the Consulate and to no avail. Does anyone even care or even look at these posts? Clearly not; as the complaints all read the same. Come on people we are deemed one of the most friendliest, most courteous and fun-loving people on this earth. Where is the courtesy on not answering a ringing phone? Where is the friendly nature or responding to a request? Are we really just loving all the fun of ignoring your own people.

Come on TnT let's do better.... PLEASE!!!!

very poor telephone service, no one ever answers your call or return your phone calls. It's unbelievable that for an International embassy they have this type of service for there citizens seeking information.

FRUSTRATED
I HAVE BEEN CALLING THE CONSULATE FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS,AND UP TO TODAY NOVEMBER 14TH, I HAVE'NT BEEN ABLE TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE. WHAT DEPLORABLE SERVICE! COULD YOU IMAGINE, ON VETERANS DAY THE MESSAGE SAID "OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED".WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE WHETHER IT'S CLOSED OR OPEN, ONE STILL DON'T GET ANY SERVICE. THIS IS SO SHAMEFUL,AND ALSO VERY SAD,AS I REPRESENT MY COUNTRY SO WELL.

Sad comment on those who represent th country
It is sad to say , that I became an American citizen because I could not get needed services from my consulate. I live 400 miles from the nearest office and cannot take the time off work and do not always have the money to get there.
when calling the consulate there is no answer or if one leaves a message there is no return calls.
How is anyone expected to conduct business like this.
The power that be , need to examine what is happening in these offices.

I have been trying to renew a passport expired since 2012. Every time I go there it's something. Last time I went there they tell me the names of both my mother and father on my birth certificate is not my mother and father.....What a waste of money on these employees and rent for the consulate....funny thing these Trini in there like to twist their tongue like the white man but they know nothing about Progress.

Telephone calls to the TT Cinsulate.
I tried for a few days to phone the TT consulate. No one answered.

Eventually . I visited the Consulate. The Cashier was on the phone talking to her friends while servicing me.

I mentioned that I could not get through on the phone. She said that the phones were okay and working.

So this is how the TT Consulate treats us, worse than Dogs.

I have been calling all day all to all the departments and all the lines are going to voicemail.
Please close that office the people are getting paid to do nothing.
Am sorry but they are not representing Trinidadians & Tobagonians this is madness.
I just connected to all the lines to see who can give me some info. believe it or not all the departments went to voice mail.
