I went to the embassy this week to process a non b visa for my new workplace in Thailand. I am having a week holiday in the Philippines so my new employer thought it will be good to have it here. My documents from Thailand are complete but I was told that I have to get an NBI clearance to have it done. Okay, this is fine. The only thing that upset me was the way that the employee talked to me. It was only 9: 30 am but the male employee talked like he was already stressed. No greetings, he talked in a rush and with an intimidating facial expression. In my case, I would be happy to be assisted fairly and properly but the way this person acted was totally depressing. He is a Filipino by the way. Obviously, he does not have any idea how approachable, calm, helpful and polite Thais are. For me who has been working and living in the Land of Smiles, this employee I am referring to should get a proper briefing on how to represent the Royal Thai Embassy to all.
