Goodday. My boyfriend and I are planning to tour Thailand starting from the 6th January 2015 for a week. prior to that, we will be in Hong Kong for about a week. we are from a country called Botswana in Africa and do not require a visa to enter Hong Kong. can we apply for our Thailand Visas in Hong Kong, if so, how long does it take?

I need to go Bangkok on Oct 15 and return to HK on Oct 18.
I am holding the HKSAR passport but I had found the expiry date is Dec 3 , 2013 after I booked the air ticket.
So, Please advise can I still go to Bangkok using my HKSAR passport? Many thnaks.
