I have a question, I want to know if I am eligible for Tanzanian citizenship. My father was born in Tanzania and he was a Tanzanian citizen,but my mother is French. My father renounced his Tanzanian citizenship before I was born and he became a french national. I want to know if I am eligible for Tanzanian Citizenship. I have visited the country many times and I love it. I am willing to give up and renounce my French Citizenship to become a Tanzanian citizen. I will be very greatful if someone could give me an answer, thanks. I am 31 years old and I was born in France.

Je suis du Niger et enseignant-Chercheur à l'Université de Niamey. J'ai été invité par le Pan-African START Secretariat (PASS) de l'Université de Tanzanie pour assister au "Forum on Education, Capacity building and Climate change : A strategy for collective action in Africa" qui se tiendra du 27 juin au 1er juillet 2010 à l'Hotel White sands à Dar Es Salaam. Est-il possible d'obtenir le visas à partir de l'Ambassade de Tanzanie à Paris? Sinon comment puis-je faire pour obtenir le visa. Merci
