Never had a problem
My many visits before this tragic conflict were very smooth and had no trouble. In fact i had been welcomed with open arms.
It's heart breaking to hear of the destruction and killing of the Syrian people. outside interference should be stopped ASAP. Syria is a sovereign country.

Closing of the embassy is wrong. to deny the Syrian people from being able to vote is un-democratic of the USA.

Syria can also send a message out to the world about the USA & Israel
Syria can also send a message out to the world about the USA & Israel

Dear Sir / Madam

Why has the Syrian Government not stated that USA & Israel MUST remove their weapons of mass distruction....CLUSTER BOMBS... the rest of the world has??? This would be great properga for the government.

http://www.clusterconvention.org/the-convention/convention-text/

"The Convention on Cluster Munitions, CCM, prohibits all use, stockpiling, production and transfer of Cluster Munitions. Separate articles in the Convention concern assistance to victims, clearance of contaminated areas and destruction of stockpiles."

http://www.stopclustermunitions.org/the-problem/what-is/

Best wishes and hope that the government can resolve this messy issue that has received such world attention.

Sincerely.................. Greg K

Painting Syria with an ugly brush
I know how with enough effort anyone can paint a cute puppy to look like a man eating monster. The western world needs to look at the real colors of Syria and stop painting it with the colors that portray the view that they want to promote, they are playing with peoples lives.

I am not an uninformed American. I have been in Syria many times and I know that what has been happening in Syria, has been greatly exaggerated. No where, in the Middle East will you find the freedom that ordinary citizens have that what is
found in Syria.
