Momoh
It is very troublesome that residents in nabouring countries are expected to send their visa applications and passports via a courier service. There should be a system in place for applicants to present their passports at the country of residence without having to send them to SA via a courier service. No responsibility is taken by the Swiss Embassy for lost passports since no acknowledgement is given by the Swiss Embassy for these kind of visa applications. Passports are valuable documents and can easily be lost and one would expect the Swiss Embassy to take this into account in their visa application procedures.
