Nancy, you are being scammed. There is no Chris Eduardo. A scammer befriended you on the internet and is now trying to get you to send money to secure his "release" from this fake situation. Don't send anything, you will never see the money again and you will never meet Chris Eduardo.
He called me long distance and ask for help but I am in Singapore.. I ask him to call his Swiss Embassy for urgent assistance.. He informed everything including personal items are withheld and he is in their custody... Pls look into this.. Your prompt attention by your Embassy official is needed..
