Visa online
Can i get a visa to come to Swiss by doing online?
Because it take a lot of times and money if I go to Ho Chi Minh city.
I wonder how I can do when I don't live in HCM city.
It is also that Ha Noi is the capital of Viet Nam but we have to move to HCM city?

BAD ATTITUDE
I live in Prague, the Czech Republic. I applied for the Swiss visa personally in Vienna in summer 2013. I got an answer from the embassy in Vienna that I was granted the visa after exactly 1 month. However, I requested them to send the visa to the embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam as I was there for vacation and it would be more convenient for me to pick up there.

I was asked to fill in another application with new photos and other proofs. After I was done the woman who worked there said my first names were switched and therefore she cannot give me the visa. I respect the strict visa requirements of the Swiss embassy, however, the attitude of the staff was rude and unacceptable.

I'm not the only person who experienced it. A woman who went to pick up her visa there was told to get new passport photos because she cut her hair short but she had long hair when she applied. I mean the woman was trying to make up excuses to make it harder for people to get the visa. She was arrogant and abusive of her power. I had no problems with anything when I applied for the visa in Vienna. The staff in Vienna was very pleasant and helpful. They are supposed to represent the Swiss nation and now I don't feel to go to study in Switzerland anymore knowing people are going to probably treat me the same way.
