Process
My experience with the Swiss Embassy staff was that they were polite. However as far as getting things done quickly it has been a nightmare. I am married and it looks like it will be a long wait before I join my husband.

How long should it take to get documents that have already being legalised by my Foreign Office legalized again. Granted that there is the problem of fraud but I think this is redundant and certainly not foolproof. In the meantime I am stuck in "a waiting for legalization" nightmare while the time I should be enjoying being a newly wed is flying by.

Non European I guess are not entitled to wedded bliss. I wish while working so hard to protect their borders they have not forgotten that we all want the same thing...to be loved and allowed to love and live as everyone. I just want to be with the man I love... can this 4 months of screening be shortened?
