Comments on this Embassy
Mr Beat Fischer was an officer of the swiss army, having reached the general's rank. He was also the mayor of Gettnau, a little village close to Luzerne. We met for the first time in 1980 in Fort Benning, Georgia, USA, as trainees in the Infantry Officers Advanced course. A great friendship was developed within the members of our families. Upon graduation we promised to meet again. They hosted us in Switzerland and we hosted them in Greece. Several years later the swiss couple divorced. We kept in touch by phone for sometime and then, due to change of the phone dialing codes in both countries we lost each other. Since I want so much to know what has become of Beat Fischer (having already reached the age of the 70s), any kind of assistance to this would be thankfully appreciated. My phone number in Athens is 00302106918640 and my address is No 6 Kapsabeli Str. Athens-post code 11524-Greece. Or, please, send an e-mail to "arliko@hotmail.com" Looking forward to hear from you, soon, Sincerely.
