Comments on this Embassy
If you think it is expensive to travel to Kinshasa for a visa, how do you expect to live in Sweden? Do you know how expensive it is there? A cup of coffee costs almost 5Euros...oh, I see, you want the Swedish government to take care of you? Look, for whatever political reasons, your countries aren't friendly at the moment...it is sad, and not your fault, of course. But, don't expect EVERYTHING to be handed to you, either. You have to take risks in this world to have results. Why don't you go to the Swedish Embassy in Nigeria instead? Or some other African country with whom your country has diplomatic relations? If you want something, you must work hard to have it. And, you must have some money to support yourself. I realize you don't come from a rich society, but you must work even harder until the day when all of us are equal.
a friend of mine wishes to travel to kinshasa for his visa.how can he get there?are thry still fighting in congo?and how much does it cost?
this is so frustrating that after obtaining admission into a swedish university one will have to first travel to a warzone to apply for a visa.why should the students suffer for a crime done by the authorities, this is soooo unfair.plsss have a re think and do the right thing all those in charge
What has cameroonian students done please leave us apply for a visa here it is hell moving to kinshasa with war and robery.
I wish to bring to highlight the suffering by Cameroonians wishing to study in Sweden notwithstanding the insecurity of traveling to Zaire The cost of applying for a study permit almost surmounts amt that a student will survive in Sweden for a year. If the Swedes do not want us Cameroonians let them simply ask their Universities not to give us admission. Let the government do something about this
The stress you guys have placed on us Cameroonians, is too poor and unbearable.Going to a war zone just to apply for a visa,is a sad news. The risk and stress along the boarders,is a sad news to post.Even with a Visa from The DRC Consulate here in Cameroon,The Immigration Officers in Kingshasa still ask you to pay 5000 to 10000fcfa if not, they will cancell the Visa.In near by Congo Brazzaville, the issue of CEMAC does not apply at the seas Port.
Please their SAwedish Authorities, you should please see into this situation and risk Cameroonians are going through.
With all due respect, reinstate the swedish embassy
Hello, there we the cameroonian student wish to beg on the Swedish authorities to look in to the matter of student going right to Congo to apply for student visa, its really costly and more to that in war zone ,please can you people give us a consulte here in cameroon?thanks Claud
I can not believe that even the telephone numbers put up alongside the email found on this web site does not even work.
What have Cameroonians done to merit such humiliation????
EVEN IN MY GRAVE I GRUMBLE ABOUT THE STRESS YOU HAVE PUT CAMEROONIAN STUDENTS IN. FOR WE ALL KNOW THAT CAMEROONIANS ARE ONE OF THE BEST STUDENTS WORLDWIDE WHEN IT COMES TO EDUCTION. WHY SHOULD YOU HUMILIATE THEM? I HEARD YOU TALKED OF FRAUDS AT THE LEVEL OF THEIR CONSULATES.IT IS YOUR DUTY TO RESHUFFLE YOUR CONSULATE WORKERS AND PUT THOSE WHO ARE TRUTHFUL. I ALSO HEARD YOU HAVE EXEMPTED THEM FROM SOME SCHOLARSHIPS. WHY WHY???. PLEASE, EVEN DEAD I PLEAD ON THEIR BEHAVE. DO SOMETHING FOR THEM.
KING OF THE POP
Please i am begging for both the Swedish and Cameroonian authorities to re establish diplomatic relations so as to facilitate the obtains-ion of permits and visas by young Cameroonian students who which to pursue their studies in Sweden. This will greatly minimize the cost they in cure to send their documents to other Swedish embassies found around them.At times which ends up in many of them loosing their admissions in prestigious Swedish universities due to late processing of their visa documents to far away embassies from their area of residence. Thanks if my complain is granted due consideration.
