Hi, am a Sri Lanka passport holder and residing in Manila for the past twenty year. I will be going to Sri Lanka on vacation and will be taking my daughter who is a philippine passport holder with me.

Do I need to get my daughter a visa to enter Sri Lanka as we will be staying there for 21 days?

Please email me at rafernand@yahoo.com

Obtaining Visa
I had a Sri Lankan friend who is married to filipina they had one child who was born here in Sri Lanka. The wife and the baby went back to phillipine without obtaining the resident visa in Sri Lanka. Now the wife with a 13months baby would like to come back to SL obtained the resident visa processed by her husband here in SL and document was sent to the Consolate Office in Manila and from there they have refused the validity of the Visa issued from SL Immigration & Emmigration Office and that she has to apply again. FOR WHAT REASON THAT SHE HAS TO APPLY AGAIN IF THE VISA IS ALREADY APPROAVED AND OBTAIN HERE IN SRI LANKA BY THE HUSBAND? SHE ONLY NEED THE VISA STAMP IN HER PASSPORT TO FYL BACK WHERE THE HUSBAND IS. Please advise.
