Srilankans in Jordan
Hello again, Yes I do request the embassy to take action reference all nannies/ maids that run out of the house.. We paid lots of money to bring them in the country and help us.. Our nanny Surangie was so lazy and not active at all, however, we kept her and were giving her money plus her salary.. She abused this and did not respect it and then to run away with a taxi driver? I consider this a big crime itself.. She also took her money as if she was planning it.. We never stopped her from doing anything.. she was looking after 2 years daughter, who in reality did not even bother to look after her or play with her.. she was on the phone most of time when I am at work.. It is a big big embarrassement to herself to do so and run away, I do ask the ambassador to take an action regarding these maids.. thanks.

Hi, after being so good and generous to my Srilankan maid, who has been working with us for 1 year 8 months, allowing her to go out when she wants as we trusted her, giving her money and food, private room.. etc she ran away with a taxi driver and police are looking for her.. it is a shame how we treat someone so nice then we get awarded in this way.. very disappointing and its a shame for the rest of the Srilankan community..

Sira Lankan House Keeper
To the Excellency Counsel of the Sirelankan EMBASSY -Amman
Dear Sir;
I do not know how to start my LETTER. We employed a Serilankan Lady (Mrs.Pushba)
in April to take care of my Father an old man paralyzed on on the bed. Today Thursday, 8/Sept/2011. I received a phone call from PUSHBA that she ran a way to the Embassy and left the old man alone in the house ,with out our knowledge claiming that she was sick. WE took her twice to the Doctors ,and made the necessary check up and the doctors assured that she is good and signs of sickness . We used to pay her USD200/MONTH
and treat her very well. We signed a contract for 2 years service. It cost us JOD 2000.
We request your excellency to ask her to come back to the house.
Your help is appreciated
Best Regards
Walid Haddadin
