Comments on this Consulate-General
I have to apply for a tourist visa to Spain. I am afraid after reading the comments about the two stupid ladies at the Spain consulate in Mumbai. One of them is Spanish (Fat chick) and another Indian (with broken tooth)
I dont know about the Emabssy people but I would definetly agree with the rude behaviour of the people at the IVS application center.
Not to mention that there are many things which are required and at the time of application which are nowhere mentioned on the website. All applicants please be cautioned and dont expect any help from them. also the IVS works for very limited hours which is extreemly inconvienent
I just got my visa for Spain but I must say that I went through extreemly poor service at the IVS application center in Mumbai. There are 3 people at the IVS center (1 male and 2 females). They are super rude and totally unpolished and they certainly do not wish to help you. Even the 2 ladies at the consulate are extreemly rude. The consulate needs to work more professionally
I totally agree with XYZ, the 2 ladies are so wierd and funny. They behave as if they own Spain and carry an attitute as if all Indians are waiting for an opportunity to settle down in Spain.
The fat chick is still ok but that stupid Indian chick thinks she is the next beautiful thing after Aishwarya Rai. Not to mention when u visit the IVS center they the most idiotic and stupid 3 clowns taking your visa application. So please be perpared to face the most idiotic people and extreemly poor service

spain consulate is a big joke in mumbai at makers chambers.there are two ladies one is spanish(fat) and other from india(she wears tooth braces)ask silly questions and when you express everything they will keep your passport for more than 3 weeks. and finally rejects your visa for the some different reason at all shockingly.the braces wearing girl is so stupid who makes so many faces and shows her superiority...a actual indian-raitor. these ladies actually fail to understand anything you say and rejects visa without any logic.because of the the people start feeling very bad about business ties with spanish people and visiting their country for business purpose.even submitting every possible documents about visiting their country they ask more information and when all information is provided these two ladies reject with some other reasons which is not at all applicable in these condition. even they kept passport for more that a month. If these ladies wanted to reject and not satisfied with documents submitted they could return the passport immediately but they kept the passport and after more than 3 weeks they returned passport but with rejection.
A)can i appeal against the procedure for why they took so long to possess the passport if they wanted to reject it and with all information provided to them sincerely?
B)also i want to sue the Spanish consulate for keeping such a foolish people in their consulate who never understand the eithics and behaviour and failes to understand the business need as a priority.
I got the visa and went to madrid to attend a conference and returned India on 27th May. When I got the visa I got a letter from consulate that I have to present myself at the consulate after returning. I am in chennai. Is it necessary that I have to come directly.
Sir,
My daughter who is an Engineering student, is planning to go to Spain(Girona) for Internship for Eight weeks.
The internship is arranged by IAESTE. Which type of Visa is required?
