This woman is a shame
Agreeing with Christian and Laurence on that one... The woman working the office in the Spanish Consulate at McGill is the rudest, unhelpful person I have ever had to deal with. She does not respond to questions, ask you to check a year-old website providing untrustworthy information, and ultimately give you the coldest, condescending service one could think off. If anyone in charge ever read these comments, please talk her into finding a different job more suitable to unsociable persons. It really gives the worst impression of Spain.

cannot agree more with christian, worse service ever by this woman, no one ever answers the phone in the consulate, she talks to me with the rudest tone and said that I was wasting her time, took off from work to go to the consulate for 3 times because apparently there is always something wrong with my file because she would not tell me anything and keep on repeating that I was wasting her precious time. Go on the website, go on the website, but there seem to be no website with clear information. and when I arrived with all the documents with criminal check and medical check she said I dont even need it because it's for a visa of 6 months and less.and I have already paid 200$ for all that. I said why didnt you tell me earlier and ask me to go on the website which says different things than you? she said you are wasting my time. Nice first impression of spain thank you spanish embassy.

I want the woman at the mgill consulate FIRED !!!
Does anyone know any contact info of the higher ups. This woman at 1200 Avenue McGill College, Suite 2025 is is unbelievable RACIST. I'm applying for visa and I already took off from my job more than 4 times just to go there. First nobody answers the phone, second when I go there in person for simple questions SHE WILL NOT ANSWER YOU AND TALK WITH THE RUDEST TONE EVER, UNLESS YOU ARE HISPANIC!!! Every person fights with her because she is EXTREMELY RUDE. I waited in line for 40 min just to ask some questions and she wouldn't answer anything. She kept saying "go on the site go on the site I'm busy" and completely ignored me after. I went there will all my papers and criminal record from the Montreal Police that CLEARLY STATES ITS FOR VISA and then she asks you for Royal Canadian Mounted Police criminal record with finger print that cost 60$ extra. This info is not mentioned anywhere!! She wouldn't let me do an appointment because I came and 9 in the morning saying that SHE ONLY MAKES APPOINTMENT BETWEEN 12:30 AND 1:00. She didn't give a crap even if I told her I took off from my job just to come do the appointment. Again same rude reply " come at 12:30 I'm busy" Be advised people this woman is the worse type of person I ever encountered. If anyone knows someone I could contact about her CUSTOMER SERVICE abilities please write it here.

Concered
I’m Spanish /Canadian and when I speak to people I always say how spanish peaple know how to live and respect people and how we always help each other…!! but today I can say I’m disappointed. Trying to call and reach some one was difficult and when I did reach some one for help on a matter that is very important, there was not much help. and the 2nd time was even worst.
Then I see these comments and it makes me sad.

Today I am not proud to be Spanish.

Hi,
I’m really sorry to bother you with this. I was wondering if I could find tarte a la Santiago, in Montreal. I visited compostelle and now I’m craving pie.
Thank you soo much
