Bull fighting
How can your government allow such a cruelled torture as bull fighting to happen especially in modern times.Every time I see a matador gored it gives me pleasure. And the horses too are a bloody mess underneath that cape and some are destroyed. What century are you guys in?

Setting a live animal alight for fun???
I just signed the petition to end the live burning of bulls. Are you kidding?? How can a country endorse burning and torturing a live animal for pleasure in 2013??

A service which is not been provided to the Spanish Citizens
Why do Spanish people in South Australia and Western Australia have to travel all the way to Melbourne to renew their passports. Previously it was done through our honorary consul in each state . It seems that this decision for us in Perth means that the embassy is forsaking Spanish citizen’s passport holders. Why is there any need for any Spanish consul in any state, these consuls are in this position to provide a service which are not been provided to its citizen, maybe its time they are all removed from this position, what is the use of having them there, maybe the Melbourne office has some kind of co-operation with the transport companies (be it air or land) so that they get a commission from the transport cost, It is too much to expect of many people especially the elderly. It is nearly as expensive to go direct to Spain than to have to travel from Perth to Melbourne. This decision should be reverted as it is as ridiculous has having a school teacher and school but no kids. What is the use of this service?
Spain is in a bad situation right now, but it is not only affecting everyone in Spain but it is affecting anywhere where there is a Spanish citizen; the Spanish Government is letting their citizens down in every way possible. It is the citizens who pay for this service (a service which is not been provided). They should get their act together after all there are employees of the citizen and they can be fired from their jobs just like any other employee.

Passport renewal
Why would the embassy require Spanish people in Perth (WA) & Adelaide (SA) to personally travel to Melbourne to renew a Spanish passport? It seems that this decision for us in Perth means that the embassy is forsaking Spanish citizens passport holders. It is nearly as expensive to go direct to Spain than to have to travel from Perth to Melbourne. Please revert this rediculous decision.

Reply Please
I am still waiting for a reply to my letter to the Embassy regarding the lack of police co-operation when tourists are robbed in their country.
The Spanish government should be ashamed of the lack of police on the metro and the places they know very well that are notorious for pickpockets to operate and then even less co-operation from the police that cannot speak a work of english.
Shame Shame Shame... I will never want to go again to Spain.

Barbaric treatment of Greyhounds.
What has happened to a country noted for its culture, arts, exploration and architecture? I have just signed the petition to demand the cessation of this utter cruelty to greyhounds. Is Spain bow populated by ignorant, barbaric peasants? My family and I were going to tour Spain but have decided that such a people are undeserving of a cent of our money. I have also informed my sister in the UK. She has been a regular visitor to Spain but cannot bring herself to going back there. STOP IT NOW!!!

Stop this now
Every year thousands of greuhound dogs are tortured to death in Spain as punishment for not having been good hunters. They are slowly strangled to death, burnt alive, sprayed with acid, dragged behind cars or mutilated and left to die a slow and painful death.

The objective is to PUNISH the animals for not having been good hunter dogs.

On June 9, animal welfare associations form France and Spain will come together to denounce this horrendous practice to the European Parliment, we ask for your support, please sign this petition and inform everyone you know about this tragedy, only public pressure can help us stop this attrocities.

You all must be so proud of your country

passport renewal
I HAVE WRITTEN TO THE EMBASSY IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR TO COMPLAIN AS TO WHY SPANISH PEOPLE IN S.A. AND W.A. HAVE TO TRAVEL TO MELB. TO RENEW THEIR PASSPORTS. PREVIOUSLY WE DID IT THROUGH OUR HONOURARY CONSUL MR. J. ARTACHO IN S.A. I EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS TOO MUCH TO EXPECT OF MANY PEOPLE ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY. IAM STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY.
