A question about renewing my visa
Dear Sir/madam :
My name is Muhammad Mufty and I am a Syria citizen.
I came to Spain under the Erasmus Mundus program in September-2012 and my program was for 5 months that's why my visa was for only 180 days and it was nonrenewable visa and I got it from the Spanish embassy en Beirut.
But after I came here to Granada-Spain, they had extended my Erasmus until the end of the studying year, I mean till the end of July,so I need to get a new visa now, I have tried a lot here in Spain and in my embassy in Madrid to get my visa renewed here but they just keep telling me that I need to go back to where I got it from which is the Spanish embassy in Beirut because the Spanish embassy in Syria is closed due to the war there.
I can't go back to Beirut now because I have classes here and also it would be so expensive for me, so I am contacting you just to see if I could just send the passport and the required documents by mail and if it would be possible to renew it this way?
It would be great if i could get my visa renewed like this instead of going back to Beirut in order to get it renewed.
Sorry to bother you but because not a lot of days left in my visa.
Looking Forward to hearing from you soon
Kind Regards
Muhammad Mufty
