Exit Ovir Visa
Hello there,

I am an Uzbek passport holder, currently living and working in South Korea. My exit ovir visa expires next month, in July, to be more specific. But my Korean visa is valid till 2015. As I recently found out in the embassy of Uzbekistan do not renew this exit ovir visa. The problem is that I can't go back to Uzbekistan due to some personal problems. I need to go back to my country to solve the issue.
I've got a question about this issue:
- do i need to renew the exit ovir visa if my Korean visa is valid till 2015?

I would really appreciate for your replies.

Thanks.

Good morning, dear Consul!
Dear Consul!
I am from Uzbekistan and I married a Korean man. In 2011 I came to Korea.I want to ask you about OVIR visa. Because my OVIR visa will expire. So my questions are:
1. Do i need to update (renew) the OVIR visa or not?
2. If i got the citizenship of Korea, do i need to leave the citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan or not?
3. Can i get dual citizenship?
Hope i will get detailed information soon!
with regards,
Akhunova

Do not worry
People, visit immigration service of Korea in order to find full information regarding all types of visas. The information provided about visa issues are general for all citizens of countries that visa policy is applied. There is one intergovernmental programme about working in Korea. I approximately know the building where that center is located. That was not far from the Beruniy underground station. You have to walk approximately 2 or 3 km towards the oncology hospital through tram line or you can take a tram. So there you can be aware of necessary information about legal working in Korea. But disadvantage is that u have to wait the reply 2 or 3 years after you have passed all demanded steps.
I would feel myself happy if I could be helpful in this. Wish u luck.
