Passport Validity
Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to ask regarding passport validity and getting student visa.
My passport expire on May 2013 and I'm going to apply non- emigrant student visa after November 2012.
Period between them is only 5 month. According to visa requirement this period should be
no less then 6 month. However, I already apply to University in Korea.

I'm afraid that our government not renew passports until the validity date over.

Kindly ask you to give your advises regarding this matter. Is there any possibility to get
visa with my passport?

Thanks in advance!

Will try to respond to given questions
Dear all,

As I am living and working in Korea for more than 3 years. I had some experiences. I will try to reply to your questions as I experienced them by myself.

If your OVIR viza experies but your Korean visa still valid you don't need to change it if you are not going to visit Uzbekistan. If you are going to Uzbekistan, then you have to change your OVIR viza as you can't go outside as your OVIR visa has expired.

I had a recent experience of it. I hope I helped.

As to study in Korea, you can just search on google the list of universities in Korea and visit their website. If it's time for enrollment you can just apply for any degree.

As for free language study in Korea which holds every year by NIED Korean Government its better to visit their website for next enrollment.

As for dual citizenship. Uzbekistan is not allowed for dual citizenship, so you have to choose are you really gonna be citizen of Korea or keep your Uzbekistan citizenship.

As for tour visa. You can only apply through travel agency if not then, somebody in Korea needs to invite you in other case you can't apply by yourself to tour visa.

Tourist visa.
Dear Sir or Madam!
I am a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan and currently living in Uzbekistan. I am an English teacher. I would like to know something about tourist visa to South Korea from Uzbekistan. As a citizen of Uzbekistan, can I get a one-month tourist visa. The only reason why I want to go Korea is I would like to see it. The people, the culture, the nature and other things really interest me very much.
Thank you beforehand.
Sincerely Davron
Namangan city.
