im going to korea for 3 month for attend a training at daejeon korea. So, what is the interesting places should i visit?

I am leaving to South Korea on Tuesday for a 5 day visit, do I have to get a visa as I am confused by some people say Malaysians do not need to apply for visa to Korea for a short trip and some say we need to apply. Kindly let me know.

I am Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineer. Service in Malaysia since 1994, in Private Construction company as a Project Engineer in Jalan Ampang (Embassy View)Project. I am interested to visit 4 daya in South Korea during my Annual Leave. May I know what is the duration of visa processing after submission of application.
