I think it's not a strange case to find the embassy's staffs abuse their authority. They think by working in the Embassy, they are above the law, so they can treat people as they pleased. My family plant to visit Korea for holiday. They used agent to do their visa. The agent asked them to prepare some important documents which they need it.
I, myself who live in Korea prepared some documents from my side. As agent requested, we prepared it. Then the agent submitted to Korean Embassy. For a week or 8 days, we got the passports. 6 out of 7 passports were visa stamped but 1 who belonged to my big auntie was pending. The agent called many times to the Embassy to ask why it was pending. The answered was simple THEY DON'T KNOW!
So who knows? No one in embassy tried to clear what was wrong. How come they didn't know? So these people who issued the visa didn't know why it was pending? How stupid it was.
So I asked my husband to call to Korean embassy to find out what was actually going on? The man name Lee .......He told us to prepare the same documents that I gave before to the agent. Unbeliveablle, where were all the documents that I gave to them, why they asked the same again. I felt like they played us for their fun. And the more made me upset, this man by the name of Lee was very rude. How he said we were annoying him , we supposed to put the documents earlier that we actually did it. I wonder how the Korean embassy taught their staffs to behave? Don't you think your Embassy is a gate for people to see how Korean actually looks. By acting so rude and annoying to make more hustle to the people who apply for visa to Korea, it doesn't give good image for your country.
